At Little Mittens, we have created a structured, welcoming space where children feel safe, understood, and encouraged to grow.
At our Novi center, we combine evidence-based ABA therapy with thoughtful design and intentional routines tailored specifically for young children. From classroom setup to daily programming, every detail is developed to promote communication, independence, and confidence.
We believe meaningful progress happens when families are active partners in the process. Through collaboration, transparency, and consistent support, we work together to help each child build lasting skills. To learn more, read our FAQs.

Sharing Our “Why”
When it comes to starting a company, there are so many aspects to consider and three times as many steps to go through. Thinking through the questions (who, what, where, when, why, and how) helped Emily Seevers and Jamie Harris land on the perfect company for them: Little Mittens Autism Center. Though all the questions had easy answers for them, maybe the best question was “why?” as it secured their belief in their dream.
Our Mission Statement and Core Values
Mission Statement:
At Little Mittens Autism Center, our mission is to provide compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services within a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment. We partner closely with families to target meaningful, individualized goals that support each child’s communication, social, and daily living skills.
We are more than an ABA provider—we are a community centered on growth, joy, and connection. Our top priorities are every child’s happiness, well-being, and independence, and we strive to create a space where children are excited to learn, families feel supported, and lifelong skills can flourish. We are honored to walk alongside each family every step of their journey.
Our Core Values:
1.Child-Centered Care
We recognize that every child is unique. All programming is individualized to reflect each child’s strengths, needs, and developmental goals.
2. Joyful Learning Environment
We believe that meaningful progress happens when children feel happy, safe, and excited to learn. We intentionally create a fun, engaging, and positive environment where children are motivated to participate and where our goal is for every child to feel genuinely happy to be here.
3. Compassion and Respect
We treat every child and family with dignity, empathy, and respect, building strong, trusting relationships that support meaningful growth.

7. Consistency and Reliability
We prioritize consistent staffing and structured environments to promote learning, reduce anxiety, and support skill generalization.
8. Growth and Independence
Our goal is to help each child develop functional skills that increase independence and improve quality of life.
